The basic design of this chassis has been used for a number of years. It is produced by welding steel sections together to various configurations to accommodate the customer's requirements.

The lattice steel frame construction is then painted in accordance with ISO 12944 to provide protection fit for purpose on C3 and C4 corrosive environments only.

This type of chassis is not recommended for coastal applications as it will show signs of rust within a short period of time unless frequently maintained.
